What’s Been Going On at The Organized Dream

by katie

I’ve been contacted about several opportunities that I would like to share with you. It’s sort of a head’s up on what’s been going on here at The Organized Dream. From Parade articles to DIY project submissions, there’s a little bit of everything!

First, I want to share with you my newest Parade/Sverve article that went live a short time ago. I would love for you to check it out! A lot of you enjoyed my Homemade Monogrammed Gift Tag post. Well, I also had a cinnamon clay recipe to share, but I thought it would make the perfect article on Parade. These, along with the monogrammed clay recipe, can be used in the same ways, but the recipes differ. If you love creating kid-friendly crafts and adding a little homemade-touch to your holiday decor or gift giving, I would love for you to stop by and check it out. Click HERE to view my article.
I was contacted a while back by Violette Field Threads to be featured as a spotlight blogger! I would love for you to visit their post to read the little Q&A about little ol’ me and my blogging life! You can do so by visiting HERE. Don’t forget to browse their site. Besides coordinating their own blog, they also have a great selection of  clothing patterns and tutorials.
DIY Lifestyle Mag
I recently received a lovely little gift from DIY Life Style Magazine. They’re a digital magazine solely based on everything DIY. They can be found on iTunes and in the Google Play Store. What did I get? A handy craft tool set! I’m in love with these. I wish I had them before when I did so many projects!

You can follow DIY Life Style Magazine on Twitter for the latest updates on their magazine and have the opporunity to win your very own set by tweeting #DIYLifestyleGift
A lot of you may have already heard that I submitted a project to Darby Smart to be one of their designers. Sadly, I didn’t make the cut, but here’s my project none-the-less. What is Darby Smart? You can find out by visiting HERE.
These were the materials used on the project sans straws. You can find everything and similar straws at Darby Smart.
This is the final look. I created these to use for holidays in a multitude of ways. If you’re interested in seeing how these were created, let me know. I’d love to share my tutorial.
Besides what’s listed above, I’ve also recently received a wonderful package of Kiley’s Purple Hat items including the newly released book and more! I plan on doing a separate post for this in the very near future so stay tuned! In the mean time, want to learn more about Kiley’s Purple Hat? You can check out my book review HERE.
