Valentine’s Day Twine & Ribbon Wreath

by katie

Looking for a cute project to decorate your home this Valentine’s Day? This wreath project is simple looking and oh-so-pretty. I don’t decorate much for a lot of the holidays including Valentine’s Day. It’s mostly due to the fact that I’ve just stored away all of the Christmas clutter. I do like little things here and there. After realizing I had nothing to hang on my door after I took my Christmas wreath down, I decided a V-day wreath will work just great.

There are only a few things that you will need to make this wreath. Most of the items can be purchased at your local craft or dollar store.

You Will Need:

  • Foam Circle
  • Twine
  • Ribbon
  • Glue Gun
  • Scissors

Instructions:

Start by gluing one end of the twine to the foam circle.

Wrap the twine tightly around the wreath form.

Your wreath should look like this when you’re done.
The next step is to add your ribbon. You can do so however you want. I wrapped the ribbon one way around the wreath and then, after cutting the ribbon and gluing it in place, I wrapped it the other way. I used the leftover ribbon to create a loop with a bow to hang it.

This wreath is the perfect size to be placed anywhere so it could even work over a mirror or on a collage wall!

Stay in the loop!

How adorable!!!! I bought these cute hearts from the dollar tree and I'm trying to think of how I want to put them into a wreath!

Pretty, and pretty simple. I imagine it took a long time to wrap it with the twine, though. The "LOVE" ribbon was just perfect! Thanks for coming by and sharing at Celebrate Your Story!
