Top Fitness Apps To Motivate You

by katie

When you’re busy, it’s hard to find the time to exercise and I am plenty guilty of this. I’ll work out here and there but can never really work in a workout. 😉 For those of you needing an extra boost, here are some great fitness apps I’ve been using and love.

These apps have been great for me because they have offered on-the-go tips, work outs and reminders. Because exercising is so important, it’s worth giving a try, right?

My Fitness Pal

This app works with so many other fitness apps to make it easier for you to keep track of your workouts, food intake and more.

S Health

It also does the same for when I run and calculates the amount of calories burned. I don’t think it syncs with the My Fitness Pal app, but it gives me exact step count and total minutes which makes it easy to enter the information in.

SworkIt Lite

It offers workouts in as little as 5 minutes so there’s no excuse not to have time. It even offers reminders. The downside to this app is that it doesn’t give you a number of calories burned.

Workout Trainer

Whether you’re an avid exerciser or someone wanting to get into it more and don’t have the motivation, these apps are great tools.

Other great fitness apps I’ve heard of but haven’t tried:

  • Fitbit
  • Google Fit
  • Runtastic Running & Fitness

Thanks for stopping by!

I need to use an app to keep track of things. I keep track of so many things on my phone, why not this? Thanks for linking up to Tips and Tricks. Hope to see you again this week. Kathleen @ Fearlessly Creative Mammas

Hey, I use S Health and the Skimble Workout Trainer too! Yes, the S Health came on my Galaxy S5 and I love how it also counts my steps (of course I have to carry it at all times). I found the Skimble Workout Trainer through the S Health app. I have used other fitness apps and the Skimble Workout Trainer is a really good one! #TurnitupTuesday
