My Word of the Year 2021

My Word of the Year 2021

Well, if 2020 has taught us anything it’s that we can definitely deal with all the bad things life has to throw at us. From the pandemic to world issues, there was a lot to adapt to and I think we’ve all come to have a lot of hope for 2021.

For the past few years I’ve chosen a word of the year to symbolize what I want to accomplish or “work on” throughout the year.

This year, my word of the year is…

I chose Hope as my word of the year because I want to keep looking at the brighter side of things. For every down moment, I want to be able to look up and hope for a silver lining…a glass half full perspective if you will. With this word, I also want to incorporate my previous words of the year like grow, consistent and focus. Doing so will allow me to take each day and make it better than the day before.

Have you chosen a word of the year? Do you prefer making a new year resolution instead? Tell me what you think in the comment section below!

Ha! My word for LAST year was hope, but as I reflected on it (I wrote a blog post about it) I realized that it wasn’t such a crazy word after all. This year it is “light.”

That’s a great word. I think Hope was a good word for last year. We all hoped for a better year in 2021! Let’s see if it happens!

That is a great word for this year. I chose trust because I can’t think of a time I have struggled so much to trust God with so many different things.

I always chose a word of the year but as of now I am still thinking what it should be with everything happening and I know Hope is a wonderful word and describes the year but I was thinking of Believe for believing in the Lord and myself my friends and family I believe I can and will succeed and survive this year through my Faith.

Believe is also a great choice!
