Healthy Yogurt Banana Bread

I love simple baking recipes and this one is simple and delicious! It’s homemade goodness for breakfast on the go or a simple dessert. It’s made with no oils or butter and is definitely a perfectly healthy alternative to traditional banana bread.

Let’s begin! You’ll need all purpose flour (if you want to get really healthy you can swap this out for wheat flour), maple syrup, ripe bananas, yogurt (I opted to use low fat vanilla, but you can choose plain or greek as well.), baking soda, eggs and sea salt.
Start by blending the dry together in one bowl and the wet ingredients in another with the bananas. You can make your bananas as lumpy or smooth as you want. Mix all ingredients together well without over mixing. 
Place in a lightly greased standard loaf pan (9″x5″) and bake at 350 between 30 and 40 minutes until it’s golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let cool for about ten minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely before storing.
Want to make it extra sweet? Add some chocolate chips or about 1/4 cup of brown sugar!
