Girls’ Night Out: Repurposing a Bridesmaid Dress

by katie

Hey, guys! This post is going to be so much fun! How many of you have those bridesmaid dresses just sitting in your closet? I’ve chosen one dress from Weddington Way and made it into a chic rocker look!

I chose the Watters 1529 dress. It’s a fabric crinkly chiffon and I thought it it was the perfect girls’ night out dress with the right accessories.
I love this necklace. It has gorgeous royal blue and teal stones that really make a statement and the ring is the perfect color to compliment the blue Givenchy clutch.

I love this faux leather jacket. I think it gives it just the right amount of edge without making it to ‘biker chick’. The Givenchy clutch is amazing, of course and every girl needs a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps. These peeptoe pumps add the right amount of sparkle and glam.
Okay, so I could have gone with a pop of color contrasting everything else and, yes, I agree, but this shade of blue is so pretty. I just went with it. This is a very casual yet party-ready updo and thought it brought a relaxed feeling to the look. The smokey eye and red lip is a must for almost any occasion. So I added it. Why not?

Have you ever repurposed a bridesmaid dress? No? Well… how do you think you’d style it?
Stay in the loop!
