Alright! Who’s ready for Valentine’s Day? I have such a fun and adorable Valentine idea to share with you today that I just can’t contain myself! If you’re looking for a great DIY project for your classroom this Valentine’s Day or something a little extra special for your child to hand out at school, this is for you!
I remember being in elementary school and decorating tissue boxes to place on our desks. Each child would go around and place a valentine in each one. I don’t know about you, but I’ve had my daughter come home almost every year with her Valentine’s all smushed at the bottom of her backpack because they don’t have anything to put them in. That’s where I got this idea! So, off I went to Oriental Trading to check out their Valentine’s Day supplies!
Each box is large enough for you to put some goodies inside for each student, but also plenty of room for other Valentine’s so they can keep them all together.
These were really easy to put together and didn’t take very long. You and your child will have a lot of fun putting these together, promise!
Because this cute little fox box was something that my daughter fell in love with instantly, I thought that I’d make it extra special by choosing a fun Valentine to go with it. This foxy valentine is not like the rest. It has a creative spinning card on it that allows you to write up to four different messages to the recipient. I let her write what she wanted and put it together with a simple pin provided with the kit.
I wanted to think “outside the box”…no pun intended 😄… and give something other than candy. While a lolly pop is included, I though it would be a good idea to put a bunch of things the kids would get a use out of so I added a couple erasers, a pencil, little notebook, cute stamp and a ruler.
We even bought some cute little stuffed animals for her teachers! They are oh-so-cute!
I’m simply in love♡ with these boxes and know that my daughter and her class are going to have a lot of fun with them!
