Friday Favorites: DIY Wall Decor

by katie

This week I wanted to feature some great ideas for creating your own wall art. I’ve been thinking about different things I could do in my living room and bedroom. I’ve come across these so far.

FF: DIY Wall Decor

I love the look of the paper flowers. I think they’re pretty and unique. I have had this on my to-do list for a little while now and don’t know if I should make a huge one for over my bed or create a smaller one for a collage wall in the living room.

I love unconventional art. I made a toilet paper tube wreath last Christmas, but I like the thought of making one without the holiday theme. Creating letters from different materials is a great DIY project because letters can fit in many places. This EAT sign was made out of palettes. Love them! I love the look of this sunburst mirror and how large it is. It’s a good idea to create a focal point in a room.

Of all of these ideas, I do love the living succulent frame. This would be an awesome addition to my hallway. I don’t have the best of luck with plants. Out of the plants I own, only three are alive. I would be too afraid to tackle this one! It’s definitely my favorite though!
