I was first inspired by what I was seeing on Pinterest, of course. I think every one of you can relate, right? I knew there was only so much I could do, but finding the right accessories would make all the difference. I opted to keep it relatively neutral because I have this overly bright yellow tile. I figured that could be the main color….since I didn’t have a choice.
After putting together images that represented what direction I wanted to go in, I was off to find everything. I knew I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money because, after all, saving money is what I love to do. This sometimes makes it harder than it has to be, but I was able to find a lot of what I wanted for reasonable prices. (You’ll never see me paying $100 on something from Pottery Barn!)
The Mood Board
Black and white seemed to be the way to go and before I knew it, I was putting my bathroom together. Not everything in my mood board above made the cut. I opted to create my own bathroom wall art since I had frames hanging up already that I didn’t want to get rid of. I also nixed the purple lavender and chose a white lavender instead. I think it looks a lot prettier.
Here’s a few pictures.
