In my journey to find just the right planner, I’ve opted for something different this year. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that I was experimenting with an A5. Well, after tinkering, I decided to run with it. Here’s a look at my 2021 planner!
A few years ago, I used a Carpe Diem A5 planner. I really liked the set up, however… I wanted to try the ever-popular Erin Condren Life Planner so I ditched it. Around September of 2020, I decided that I wanted to try an A5 one more time. This time around I wanted to try making my own inserts and customizing it to suit my needs. Needless to say, I really liked it.
As the end of 2020 came around, I used my planner less and less so I stopped using it. Now that it’s a new year, I’m ready to get back into the swing of things.
What I’m Using
I searched high and low on the inter-webs to figure out what planner I wanted to go with. There was a lot to choose from, but I ultimately went with a custom A5 planner from DC Imprints on Etsy. The Black Vegan Leather A5 planner had a pretty high price tag at $65, but it’s honestly no more expensive than any other good quality planner. The personalization was free and the shop owner, Dolce, was so nice to customize mine with my blog’s bow logo.
Customizing with Inserts
I was able to make my own inserts for this planner with the exact look I wanted and the pages I needed. I created tabs that include:
- Monthly Calendar
- Weekly Pages
- Daily Planner
- PR (for my shop)
That’s quite a list of things to keep track of, but I was able to make inserts for each one that works beautifully! If you’re interested in checking out this inserts for yourself, visit the Inserts & Dividers section of my store here on the blog!
I hope you enjoyed a look at my 2021 planner. Coming up soon on the blog, I’ll be sharing my favorite accessories! Until then, what planner are you using for 2021? Share in the comment section below!
